3. Accounts, Authentication, and Service Credits

3.1 Optional Registration: You do not need an account to use our core utilities. However, you may optionally sign in using third-party single sign-on (such as Google Sign-In) to access personalized features, tool bookmarks, practice statistics, and service credit balances.

3.2 Third-Party Authentication: When signing in with Google, you authorize Vocal Archive to access basic profile details (name, email address, profile avatar) provided by Google Identity Services. You remain responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your third-party credentials.

3.3 Service Credits: Any service credits associated with your account are non-transferable, have no cash value, and are intended solely for accessing designated platform features. Vocal Archive reserves the right to manage and regulate credit allocations.

3.4 Account Suspension and Deletion: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account that violates these Terms or engages in automated abuse. You may request deletion of your account and associated server records at any time by contacting contact@vocalarchive.com from your registered account email address.

4. Local Processing and Device Permissions

4.1 Microphone Access: Several of our tools require access to your device's microphone. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio data. All microphone audio is processed strictly locally within your web browser in real-time.

4.2 File Conversions: When using tools like our media converters, the processing is performed ephemerally. We do not permanently host, save, or claim any ownership over the files you convert.

5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree to use Vocal Archive only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Engaging in any activity that violates any local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights, copyrights, or privacy of others.
• Attempting to hack, destabilize, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Using automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to interact with the Service without our explicit written permission.
